Obituary

Edna Faye (Armstrong) Williams, passed away on August 13, 2022. Faye was born in Cato, Arkansas on May 27, 1933, to the late Floyd A.and Bessie (Martin) Armstrong. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother A.J. Armstrong, her sister Dorothy Snuggs, and her husband of 67 years, Donald Eugene "Gene" Williams. She is survived by two daughters, LaDon Dial and Tina (Danny) Proudfit, five Grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda) Dial, Chad Dial, Donald (Tamara) Proudfit, Derek (Carole Anne) Proudfit and Danielle (Cruz) Edwards. Six Great Grandchildren, Ethan Dial, Mason Dial, Alyssa Dial, Abi Proudfit, Knox Edwards and Emory Proudfit. Nieces, Johnette (Sammy) Reynolds, Sheila Kay (David) Valles and Linda Clark. Nephews, David (Trace) Webb, Joe Snuggs and Rick (Bonnie) Ward.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons: Matthew Dial, Chad Dial, Donald Proudfit, Derek Proudfit, Nephews: David Webb, Rick Ward and grandson-in-law: Cruz Edwards.  A service of remembrance will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Gene.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
