Earnest Atkinson Barton, son of the late Dolphis Barton and Eva Parish Barton was born January 21, 1931 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on January 26, 2022 at the age of 91 years and 5 days. Earnest married Louise Helton who preceded him in death.

Survivors include:

One Brother: Lonnie Barton of Kennett, Missouri

Sister: Judy Burton of Kennett, Missouri

Grandchildren: Jamie (Daniel) Roach and Michael (Donna) Weaver

Seven great grandchildren

Earnest was preceded in death by an infant daughter, daughter: Debbie Weaver, son in law: James Weaver, one brother and great grandchild Tyler Weaver.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Graveside Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Randy Helton, Robbie Helton, Daniel Roach and Michael Weaver.
