Duane Sullivan, son of the late Helen D (Marchbanks) Christy and Step Dad Donald Christy, was born June 28, 1948, in Flint, Michigan and departed this life on October 31, 2023, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Duane married Judith Averett on August 15, 2003. Judith preceded him in death April 11, 2017.

Duane was a Supervisor at Emerson Electric Motor Plant in Kennett.

Brett (Mindy) Sullivan of Greenwood, In.

Step Dad: Donald Christy of Kennett, Mo.

Brother: Ricky (Sara) Christy of St. Louis, Mo.

Two sisters: Vicki (Tony) McDowell of Marmaduke, Ar.

Karen (Bob) Batista of Boca Raton, Fl.

Four grandchildren: Dustin (Lauren) Sullivan, Shelby (Caleb) McCord, Hope Sullivan and Reagan Sullivan

Four great grandchildren: Kyleigh, Amelia, Stetson and Sutton.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2023, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the McDaniel Chapel with Reverend Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett

Family request that Memorials be made to Providence Baptist Church Kennett instead of flowers.
