Douglas Beaver, son of the late Thomas Alvin and Lela (Goodman) beaver was born March 15, 1944 in Center, Arkansas and departed this life December 1, 2020 at the age of 76 years.
He is survived by:
Three sons: Jeff (Romy) Beaver of Orlando, Florida.
James (Courtney) Beaver of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Brian Beaver of Sheridan, Arkansas.
Two daughters: Melinda (Richard) Hovis of Reyno, Arkansas.
Angie Trosper of Paducah, Kentucky.
Three brothers: Tom Beaver of Kennett.
Dwight (Shirley) Beaver of Biloxi, Mississippi.
Roger Beaver of Conway, Arkansas.
Three sisters: Glena (Terry) Scott of Gobler, Missouri.
Ann Mann of Clinton, Arkansas.
Joyce (Troy) Nicholson of Jasper, Arkansas.
Nine grandchildren: Nathan, Nelly, Jamison, Haley, Emily, Jason, Brandon, Bradley and Brittany.
Eleven great-grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Preceding him in death: his parents: Thomas Beaver and Lela Beaver and two brothers: Benny and Daniel Beaver.
Doug was an avid fisherman, he loved to bowl, but his true passion was farming. Even to the end he would always question the status of the farm if the "boys" were hard at planting or harvesting. Doug gave his life to the Lord and we are assured he is resting high on that mountain pain free.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Liberty Cemetery in Caruth being led by his nephew: T.J. Scott. Burial in the Liberty Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Richard Hovis, Caleb Hovis, Brad Case, Arlen Hobbs, Jessie Beaver, Cody Beaver, and Chase Beaver.
