Doris Kate (Dodson) Ivie, age 88 of Shreveport, Louisiana, formerly of Kennett, Missouri, passed away October 10, 2023 in Shreveport.

Doris was born October 19, 1934, in Pontotoc, Mississippi,  to the late Lonnie Cothern Dodson and Ida Catherine Nelson. Doris married Clitus Ewing Ivie June 1, 1961, Clitus preceded her in death April 26, 2005, Doris was a high school counselor in the Kennett School System.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Reverend's Don Sheerin and Ricky Williams officiating.
