Doris Faye Evans, daughter of the late Charles Lassiter and Susie (Hicks) Lassiter, was born December 8, 1940, in Dunklin County, Missouri and departed this life on February 12, 2025 at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 4 days. Doris married Herman Evans September 21, 1960. Herman preceded her in death December 18, 2011.

Survivors include:

Two sons: Rocky (Kim) Evans of Jefferson City, Mo

Robbie Evans of Nashville, Tn

Grandchildren: Morgan (Zach) Cade of Rogers, Ar

Great grandchild: Kennedy Cade

Doris was preceded in death by two brothers: Marion Lassiter and Wayne Lassiter

Visitation will be 10:00 am to 12:00 noon Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Reverends Doug Clinton and Gene Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are:  Kent Lassiter, Paul Lassiter, Kerry Castor, DeWayne Taylor, Donnie Folkes and Jeff Bryant.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
