Donald H. "Don" Watson, son of the late John Commodore "Com" Watson and Birtrue Bell (Bratton) Watson was born was born December 21, 1930 in Sumach, Missouri and departed this life on May 28, 2021 at the age of 90 years, 5 months and 7 days. Don married Louise "Pinky" Shipman May 28, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas. Louise preceded him in death August 25, 2017.

Survivors include:

Two Sons: Lanny (Monique) Watson of Holcomb, Missouri

Jerry (Terri) Watson of Memphis, Missouri

Daughter: Donna (Larry) Petty of Kennett, Missouri

Sister: Veneda Slicer of Kansas City, Missouri

Seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren

Don was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Don was a retired farmer of Sumach, Missouri and passed away at St. Francis Park Assisted Living in Kennett, Missouri.

Visitation will be 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM Sunday, May 30, 2021 at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Scott Petty, Chris Watson, Lance Watson, Lathan Watson, Payte Harris and Jeremy Townsend.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
