Donald Wayne Robertson, son the the late Edgar Robertson and Mildred (Marler) Robertson, was born July 8, 1941  in Kennett, Missouri and  departed this life on February 4, 2025, at his  home in Rector, Arkansas, at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 27 days.

Don was an electrician by trade for 30 years in Illinois and then worked as the Maintenance Director for Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett for 17 years before retiring. He was an avid outdoorsman who love to fish, hunt, golf and care for his garden.

Survivors include his wife of almost 61 years: Kaye (Tidwell) Robertson of Rector, Arkansas.

Two daughters: Dixie (Joel) Hayes of Rector, Arkansas.

Waynea (Donald) Finley of San Antonio, Texas.

Five grandchildren: Logan (Kelly) Finley, Alexa Finley (Bryn) Rhodes, Kayla Hampton (Jeromy) Ulmer, Cody (Hannah) Hampton and Morgan Hampton.

Two step grandchildren: Jacob (Erika) Hayes and Marissa Hayes

Nine great grandchildren: Paisyn, Jackson, Braelyn, Atley, Reagan, Ava, Ainsley, Brystol and Layla. He also has a great-grandson due in March.

Brother: Gary (Gretchen) Robertson

Sister: Marcia Daum

Other relatives and many friends.

Don was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Benita Akers, Betty Robertson, Marion "Sonny" Robertson, Wanda McKuin, Kenneth Robertson, Ruth Harris and Paul Robertson.

A Celebration of Life for Donald will be March 1, 2025  12:00 noon -2:00 pm at the The Life Change Community Church 1206 S. Phillips, Rector, Aransas.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett was in charge of the arrangements.
