Deronda "Fay" Cordell, 79, of Kennett passed away June 28, 2019 at her home. Deronda was born to the late Jessie and Elsie (Childress) Phillips April 29, 1940 in Kennett, Missouri.

Deronda is survived by her two sons:

Mark Wayne (Louwanna) Parrent of Kennett, Missouri

Michael Dale Parrent of Kennett, Missouri

One Daughter: Angie (Allen) Jones of Kennett, Missouri

One Brother: Jimmy Dean Phillips of Kennett, Missouri

One Sister: Connie Kathlene McDaniel of Kennett, Missouri

Two Grandchildren: Jason Parrent and Cason Dale Jones

Two Great Grandchildren: Breanna Fay and Allie Parrent

One Best Friend: Alice Ann Wright of Kennett, Missouri

Deronda is preceded in death by her parents, one Son Terry Joe Parrent, Four Brothers, James Clifton "Buddy" Phillips, Donald Clayton Phillips, Raymond Eugene Phillips and Jerry Wayne Phillips, One sister Nettie Irene "Sis" Hunter.

Services will be Monday, 3PM, July 1, 2019 in the McDaniel Chapel with Reverend Jim Davis officiating, burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday June 30 at the funeral home.
