Della Lee Launius Stone was born on February 10, 1936 in Senath, Missouri to Freeman and Sylvia Launius. She passed away on November 13, 2024 in Kennett at the age of 88 years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Senath.

Della was employed at Senath State Bank for twenty-seven years. She worked12 years in Senath. The last 15 years she worked at the Arbyrd branch and enjoyed her customers there.

She loved to shop and spoil her grandchildren, especially at Christmas. Her living room was always overflowing with gifts and the entire family would be together. She loved flowers and working in her yard when she was able.

Della was united in marriage to Jack Stone on July 27, 1957 in Hernando, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; brothers Norman, Mitchell, James, Lewis, Bert, and Leroy; and sisters Normia, Elizabeth, Ella, Edna, and Loretta.

One sister: Juanita Harrison of Sikeston

Sons: Randy and wife Roxanne of Arybyrd and John and wife Nicole of Greenbrier, Arkansas

Daughters: Karen and husband Steve Worrell of Steele and Pam and husband Joe Sherrod of Kennett

Grandchildren: Summer Sanders, Chris Stone, Lauren House and husband Jason, Zach Worrell and wife Stephanie, Jason Sherrod and wife Jen, Andy Sherrod and wife Anna, Matthew, Jaclyn, Jonna, and Nicolas Stone, Kristopher Carter, Katelyn Couch, Richard Chailland, and Leah McFall

Eleven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16 at 11:00 at the Senath First Baptist Church with Doug Clinton officiating. The visitation will begin at 10:00 and continue until service time.
