Delbert Harold Young, son of the late Delbert Young and Cora Lee (Short) Young was born February 22, 1956 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on April 20, 2021 at the age of 65 years, 1 month and 29 days. Delbert married Almetta Hendrix who preceded him in death.

Former wife: Brenda McClendon of Caruthersville, Missouri

Delbert was of Kennett, Missouri and passed away April 20, 2021 at National Health Care in Kennett, Missouri.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, April 23,2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 23, 2021 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Jon Haywood officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Wayne Elliott, Danny Sisson, Tommy Sisson, Jackie Collins, Virgil Collins and D J Emory.
