James David Caraway of Arbyrd, MO was born January 17, 1958 in Deering, MO, to Barbara (Ward) Plunk and the late James Glen Caraway.  He was a devoted Christian to the Pentecostal Faith.  David departed this life on November 3 ^rd , 2021 to go home to his Lord and Savior.

On April 16, 1983,  in Senath, MO., he married Carrie Lisa Pannells with whom he spent 38 years building and loving their life together.  He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.  He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.  He loved to watch John Wayne movies, collecting John Deere memorabilia, and playing and singing Gospel songs on his guitar.

David graduated in 1977  from Southland High School.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, of the home.

One son:  Zachary Caraway of Arbyrd, MO

Two daughters:  Michelle Gentry and husband, Jerry of Arbyrd, MO

Ashley Quick and husband, Joseph of Arbyrd, MO

He left behind five grandchildren; Madison Gentry, Tyler Gentry, Carli Quick, Joseph Quick, Jr. and Madyx Quick , all of Arbyrd.

He is also survived by his mother and Step-father, Barbara and Elvis Plunk of Doniphan, MO

Two brothers:  Keith (Vickie) Caraway of Wardell, MO

Travis Caraway of Caruthersville, MO

He is also survived by other  relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, James David Caraway, Jr. on August 8 ^th 1987.  He was also preceded in death by his father, one sister, Angel Wallace, and one brother, Tony Caraway.

The funeral will be Sunday 2:00 P.M. at the  McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Terry Vaughn officiating. The visitation will  begin at 1:00 and continue until service time.
