James Darren Casey, son of the late Woodard "Buddy" Casey and Martha (Estes) Casey was born July 7, 1970, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life April 8, 2024 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Missouri at the age of 53 years. Darren married Angela Smith June 14, 1997, in Kennett.

He was a member of the Buffalo Bills Mafia and loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by:

Son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Lindsey Casey of Kennett.

Mother-in-law: Doris Smith of Kennett.

One brother: Jerry (Christy) Casey of Republic, Missouri.

Two sisters: Karen (Greg) Haywood of Salem, Arkansas.

Dana (Tony) Holliman of Holcomb, Missouri.

Two grandchildren: 3 year old: Hudson James Casey and 1 year old: Vivian Layne Casey.

Brother-in-law: Scott (Laura) McLain of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Sister-in-law: Tracy (Anthony) McNeely of Rector, Arkansas.

Nieces and nephews: Rachel Loveless, Dalton Casey, Courtney Spence, Gregory Haywood, Ashley Casey, Jenna Hollman, Sarah Casey, Chad Benson, Brody, Zane, and Hunter McNeely.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM-2:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024, at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Kevin Swain officiating. Burial in the Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Randy Johnson, Keith Johnson, Jake Dickson, Derek Glass, Nathan Spence and Michael Casey. Honorary pallbearers are: Anthony McNeely, Greg Haywood, Brody McNeely, Zane McNeely and Dalton Casey.
