Darrell Dean Vanausdoll, son of the late Everett and Carolene (Quitt) Vanausdoll  was born December 09, 1935 in rural Jerseyville, Illinois and departed this life March 11, 2023 at the age of 87 years.  Darrell married Eva Nadine Bost.  She preceded him in death on May 26, 2019.  They were former residents of Cardwell, Missouri

Darrell and Eva were always visiting nursing homes in the area. All the residents looked forward to their weekly visits.  They also visited all the cemeteries in the area.

Darrell loved to work on all kinds of clocks.  People would bring their clocks to him, whether it would be a cuckoo clock or a grandfather clock, they knew he would try his best to get it running again.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra Vanausdoll of Jonesboro, Illinois and Diane (Larry) Bowman of Goodyear, Arizona

One sister:  Marlene Schmidt of Wabashe, Minnesota

Two grandchildren:  Jacob Vanausdoll and Michelle Jack, and two great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his siblings; Charles, Truman, William, Donald and Pauline Abbott; and a grandson; Zachary Vanausdoll.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, March 21, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Rev. Todd Milburn officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Senath will be in charge of the services.

The family requests memorials be made to the Forest Grove Baptist Church in Cardwell, Missouri in memory of Mr. Vanausdoll.
