Darell Wheeler, son of the late Ernie Wheeler and Catherine (Whitlock) Wheeler was born September 25,1942 in Senath, Missouri and departed this life on November 21, 2020 at the age of 78 years 1 month and 26 days. Darell married Brenda Evelyn James on November 25, 1960 in Senath, Missouri.

His wife: Brenda Wheeler of Kennett, Missouri

Two sons: Mark (Tena) Wheeler of Ozark, Missouri

Greg (Christy) Wheeler of Kennett, Missouri

Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren

Two brothers: David (Sandy) Wheeler of Flint, Michigan

Phillip (Theresa) Wheeler of Atlanta, Michigan

Other relatives and many friends.

Darell was preceded in death by his sister: Blanche Chadwell

Darell was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a former Kennett City Councilman and he owned and operated the Sonic Drive-In since 1977 and he loved antique cars.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Chris Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be members of Friendship Baptist Church.
