Danny Rhew, son of the late Louis Daniel "L.D." Rhew and Lola G. (Mayo) Rhew was born October 4, 1949 and departed this life on December 8, 2021 at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 4 days. Danny married Cathie Abbott, his one true love for 51 years.

Two sons: Jason (Sara) Rhew of Kennett, Missouri

Jeff (Nikki) Rhew of Kennett, Missouri

Daughter: Amy (Brad) Cavness of Kennett, Missouri

Six grandchildren: Haley Brooks, Parker Rhew, Nate Rhew, Sophie Cavness, Weston Rhew and Aiden Rhew.

Brother: Mike (Vicki) Rhew of Kennett, Missouri

Sister: Jo Ann (Randy) Skaggs of Jonesboro, Arkansas

Several nieces and nephews.

Special family and Best friends: Alan and Pam Abbott

Special granddaughter: Macy Houart

Other special relatives and many friends.

Danny served his country in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970. Danny was a godly man who loved his family and friends deeply. He loved watching his grandkids play sports and was a big St. Jude Kids supporter. Danny was employed by Baker Implement as a service manager for 34 years, Former Kennett Jaycees member and Delta Fair Board member for 39 years.

Memorial Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Kennett. Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Kennett. Reverend Mark Kailbourn officiating.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
