Danny Lloyd Jones was born on March 8, 1952 to Billy Lloyd Jones and Hattie Sue (Smith) Jones. He departed from this life on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at the age of 72 years. He was united in marriage to Connie Beth Baugus at Senath, Missouri on May 29, 1970.

His survivors include his wife Connie, one daughter, Dana Shultz of Fremont, Missouri and one son, Billy Jones of Paragould, Arkansas. Surviving grandchildren are Jamie Shultz of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Matthew Shultz of Senath, Missouri. Surviving sisters are Kathy Morgan (husband Keith) of Senath, Missouri and Andrea Godsey (husband Brian) of Senath, Missouri. His surviving brother is Joel Jones (wife Leann) of Senath, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Lloyd Jones and Hattie Sue (Smith) Jones, his grandparents Lloyd and Corrine Jones and Lester and Eldora Smith of Senath, Missouri.

Danny Jones farmed several years in the Bucoda, Missouri area. He was also a supervisor at Marine Terminal in Blytheville, Arkansas. He loved to hunt and fish and be in the woods. Danny loved all his family and his pet dogs, especially his last pet, Toby.

Danny Lloyd's memorial will be Saturday, September 07, 11:00 AM at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Denny Brown officiating.  The visitation will begin at 10:00 and continue until Service time at 11:00.
