Daniel Dean Dorris, was born to C.B. Dorris and Muriel (Grimes) Dorris, in Gobler, Missouri, on June 26, 1937 and departed this life April 25, 2026 at the age of 88 years 9 months and 30 days.
Daniel married Brenda Davidson on December 31, 1960 in Kennett, Missouri.
Two sons: Jeff and Holly Dorris of Kennett
Brad Dorris of Kennett
Brother Doyle (Carol) Dorris of Dover, Ohio
Six grandchildren: Michelle, Stephanie, Kyle, Smantha, Chelsea, and Karley
Nine great-grandchildren: Isabella, Noah, Ezekiel, Amelia, Raylan, Harli, Jovi, Landon, and Adisyn

Visitation will be Friday May 1, 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral service will be 12 noon Friday May 1, 2026 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Mr. Nolan Glover officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of his arrangements.
