Dallas Vernon Draffen, son of the late Ray and Viola (Grady) Draffen was born June 15, 1936 in Cardwell, Missouri and departed this life September 4, 2024 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. Dallas married Marilyn McComb May 24, 1974 in Kennett, Missouri. Dallas served as a medic in the United States Army. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa. He loved to fish and hunt. He retired as vice president of Kennett National Bank, was an active member of Varner River Baptist church, served as Black River Baptist Association Treasurer and went on several mission trips and bible drill trips.

Scot Floyd (Jackie) of Wentzville, Missouri
Todd Floyd (Tina) of Osage Beach, Missouri
One daughter: Paula Archer (Mike) of Paducah, Kentucky
Two brothers: Roy Draffen (Quida) of Paragould, Arkansas
Tom Draffen (Claire) of Ozark, Missouri
Two sisters: Nettie Pennington of Cardwell, Missouri
Ruth Dodd (Jerry) of Memphis, Tennessee
Brother-in-law: Jim (Shirlene) McComb of Austin, Texas
Sister-in-law: Beth McComb of Kennett
Ten grandchildren: Greg Ray (Joanna), Nichole Horst (Steven), Jessie Schober (Chris), Ashley Pierre (Eric), James Floyd, Erik Archer (Sara), Nick Archer (Hailey), Tony Floyd, Faith Floyd and Hope Floyd
Twelve great-grandchildren: Elsie Schober, Owen Pierre, Jackson Pierre, Levi Pierre, Ava Pierre, Aubrey Floyd, Eleanor Archer, Elliot Archer, Ryan Archer, Liam Archer, Reece Archer and Mackie Sheets.
Many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: William Ray Draffen, and two infant grandsons: Jordan and Joshua Floyd.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM- 2:00 PM Sunday, September 8, 2024 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 8, 2024 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Harold Dunbar officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Greg Ray, James Floyd, Erik Archer, Nick Archer, Tony Floyd, Terry Don Key, Carter Key and Chris Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Blankenship, Danny Langston, Charles Fuller, John Robinson, Danny Broglin, Terry Fuller, Terry Key, Albert Carr, Mike Archer, Robert Todd, Mark Hutton and Keith Milligan.
