Connie Jones, daughter of the late Sammy and Wilma (Shultz) Baugus was born September 18, 1952 in Senath, Missouri and departed this life June 29, 2025 at the age of 72 years. Connie married Danny Lloyd Jones on May 29, 1970 in Senath. He preceded her in death August 31, 2024.

Connie was the epitome of a virtuous woman.  She treasured her family and worked diligently both inside and outside of the home to provide for them.  She and her husband worked the family farm for years, and then she worked at Farmers Union Gin.

Her gin career lasted for 27 years, only retiring when medical conditions forced her to quit.

Connie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She was loved dearly.

She is survived by:

Two children: Billy Jones of Paragould, Arkansas.

Dana Shultz of Fremont, Missouri.

Two brothers: S.L. Baugus of Atlanta, GA

Gary Baugus of Kennett, MO

Sister: Joann Jones of Atlanta, Ga

Two grandchildren: Jamie Lipps (Ryan) and Matthew Shultz

Other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Billy, Ronnie, Jerry, and Jimmy Baugus and four sisters: Patricia Chailland, Melba Baugus, and twins: Karen and Sharon

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 5, 2025 with Rev. Denny Brown officiating at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath.
