Colleen Virginia Edwards, daughter of the late Desota Potter and Lutie Mae (Archer) Potter was born August 16, 1925 in Campbell, Missouri and departed this life on August 20, 2021 at the age of 96 years and 4 days. Colleen married Lushen Harold Edwards  April 18, 1942. Harold preceded her in death on December 17, 2019.

Survivors include:

Three daughers: Judy Rueseler of Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Connie George of Kennett, Missouri

Trena (Randy) Leach of Kennett, Missouri

Six grandchildren: Whitney (Bryan) Doyle, Ryan (Kim) Rueseler, Tonya (Mark) Smith, Jennifer George, Autumn Clark and Lauren (Ryan) Patterson.

Ten great grandchildren: Grant, Alyssa, Remington, Collin, Ashlyn, Jaden, Carley, Nolan, Hadley and Caleb.

Other relatives and friends.

Colleen was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

Colleen was of Kennett, Missouri and passed away at NHC Health Care in Kennett.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 27, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Steven Scherer officiating.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
