Claudie Burns, son of Ruby (Gozell) Burns and the late Virgil Burns was born October 4, 1959 in Hornersville, Missouri and departed this life September 14, 2025 in Senath, Missouri at the age of 65 years.  He worked as an auctioneer for most of his life. He was married to Teresa Maxwell. She preceded him in death March 1, 2024.

He is survived by:

His mother: Ruby Gozell (John) of Hornersville.

One daughter: Jocelyn McCay (Logan) of Senath.

One brother: Carl Burns (Donna) of Hornersville.

Nieces and nephews: Trenton Burns (Shelby), Paisley Burns, Jaxon Burns, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Maxwell and his father Virgil Burns.

Visitation will be 10:00 am-11:00am Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at McDaniel Chapel in Senath. Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Reverend Troy Alley officiating. Burial in Lulu Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: DeWayne McElwrath, Matt Cunningham, Greg Stallings, Danny Williams, Larry Pannells and Don "Whitey" Wallace. Honorary pallbearers: Roger King, Mike Lovelace, Charlie Cooper, Barry Blankenship, Bill Cunningham, Jim Schell, Brannon Alexander and Mark Beights.
