Clarice Jane Caneer Foster, age 84 passed away April 24, 2022 at her daughter and son-in-law's home in St. Peters, Missouri. She was born in Kennett, Missouri on December 11, 1937, daughter of the late George L. Caneer and Jessie Fern (Berry) Caneer. Claire was preceded in death by her husband Charles Foster.

Dear sister of Winston (Melissa) Caneer, dear aunt of Kim (Scott) Ivy, Jennifer Caneer, Holly Haman, Layne Ivy, and dear cousin.

Claire worked for 30 years at Famous Barr/Macy's department store. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and volunteering at the City of St. Peters, Missouri police department. Claire was soft-spoken, generous, hard-working, fun-loving, creative and sweet. She was the best mom and Mimi ever. She will be truly missed.

Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022 the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Graveside Services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Chris Maynard officiating.
