Christopher "Lewie" Lewis, born on 10/11/1974, was a power plant operator at CLGW/KBPW for the last 28 years and a lifelong resident of Kennett, MO, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was a devoted family man. One of his favorite hobbies was raising and running "Greyghost  Beagles". He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed cooking for his family and anyone else that stopped by. Anyone who knew him that cooking was his love language. He leaves behind his Mom:  Gayla (Faron) Smotherman of Kennett, MO

Children:  Tyler (Leah Jo) Lewis, Cherokee Lewis, Cassidy ((Jacob) Null, Caylee Lewis, Hayden Lewis and  Peyton (Desirae) Lewis.

Brother: Josh Crawford of North Carolina

His grandchildren: Greyson, Addelynn, Ledger, Riley, Montana, and  soon to be Annelynn.

And the one who made him laugh the Most  Sarah Stovall.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Friday, February 13, 2026 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Friday at the McDaniel Chapel with Rev. Johnny Bogle officiating. Burial will  follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Dave Jones ,Bill Guthrie, Brian Deck, Chase Smith, Dylan Hill and Josh Harmon. Honorary pallbearers: Geoff Kincaide, Joey Hamlett, Bubba Potts, Sam Goodrich, Jason Mount, Drake Daniels, Marty Johnson, Jeff Laden, Marty Cato and Del McKie.
