Charles Edward Jones, son of the late Fines D. Jones and Helen L. Jones, was born March 3, 1942, in Peach Orchard, Arkansas and departed this life, at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ar. on  June 21, 2025 at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 18 days.  Charles married Judy Ann Ziegler, Judy preceded him in death in 2018.

Survivors include:

Son: Darrell Jones and wife Chanda of Kennett, Mo

Grandson: Luke Jones (Alexis Lugo) of Rolla, Mo

Charles was retired from Emerson Electric having been employed for 37 years in the maintenance department.

Charles was preceded in death by two sisters: Louise Long and Patricia Holt, half sister: Anita Henson and half brothers: Sam and L.V. Turner.

Visitation will be 10:00 am to 10:45 am at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Graveside Services will be 11:00 am at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Tony Carnell officiating.
