Charles Alton Daugherty, son of the late Albert Daugherty and Essie (McCallister) Daugherty, was born September 16, 1943 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on October 31, 2022 at the age of 79 years, 1 month and 15 days.

Survivors include:

Son: Scotty (Beth) Daugherty of Paragould, Arkansas

Daughter: Patti Daugherty of Kennett, Missouri

Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren

Charles was of Kennett, Missouri and served his country in the United States Navy, having served in Vietnam. Charles was employed with the Missouri Hwy Patrol as a Commercial Vehicle Officier before his retirement.

Charles was preceded in death by his brothers: James, Dennis, Keith and Bill Daugherty and sister: Joyce Vandiver.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. Pastor Steven Scherer officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
