Carolyn Jackson, daughter of the late Homer and Freida Dalton Jackson, was born December 06, 1945 in Cardwell, Missouri and passed away March 11, 2024  at the Heritage Nursing Home in Kennett, Missouri at the age of 78 years.

Carolyn was a graduate of the architectural drafting program at ITT Bailey Technical College in St. Louis, MO.  She had a lengthy successful career as a draftsman. She loved music as well as playing and writing songs. She created an Ebay business selling items online and sold Avon for many years.  A lifelong learner who loved to read and could do anything from building her own shed to sewing curtains and anything in between.

Ms. Jackson is survived by:

Three daughters:  Jenita Lancaster, Gayla Lancaster Wright, and Sherri Lancaster

One sister: Rita Kasey

3 grandchildren:  Tyler Summers, Carissa Tate, Brielle Tate

1 great grandchild:  Selah Montes

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Katrina Lancaster Franklin and three brothers,  James Jackson, Dwight Jackson, and Ronnie Jackson.

Carolyn is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Her funeral will be Thursday, March 14, 2:00 PM at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.  Burial will be in the Lulu Cemetery.

The visitation will begin Thursday at 1:00 and continue until service time at 2:00.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Senath will be in charge of the arrangements.
