Carolyn Carnell was born on May 15,1943, to the late Eldon and Mary Belle Norman in Bragg City, Missouri. She passed from this life on August 10, 2026 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.

In 1961, she married the love of her life, William Edward Carnell who preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Vicky (Daryl) Wilcoxson of Kennett

Son: Tim (Constance) Carnell 

Grandchildren: Ashley Wilcoxson (Justin Coury),  Josh Wilcoxson (Brittany),  Candace Logan (Brant), Michael Carnell (Anna) and Rebekah Kolafa (Kyle).  She is also survived  by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, brothers-in law and  sisters-in-law that she loved dearly and many other friends and family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers: Jearl, John Ed and Larry Norman.

She attended Bragg City High School where she was a member of the singing group, Freddie & The Teenagers. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church for many years. She attended the First Christian Church in Kennett where she worked in the nursery and in her later years loved attending The Bridge.

Visitation will be 9:00  AM-11:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2026 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM at the Chapel in Kennett. David Carnell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Justin Coury, Tim Carnell, Josh Wilcoxson, Michael Carnell, Kyle Kolafa and Brian Legahn.
