Carole Lynn Peckenpaugh, 62, of Bragg City, formerly of Finley, Tennessee died July 10, 2021 at West Tennessee Health Care in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Carol was born to Clyde and Villie (Sims) Duncan December 21, 1958 in Conway, Arkansas. Carole was a long-time member of the Finley Baptist Church in Finley, Tennessee.
Carole had so many friends that have touched her in so many ways with text, prayers, phone calls and she was so appreciative. She cherished every one of them. She moved to Finley, Tennessee when she married Dennis and found these friends who went through this journey with her and never left her side. Carole's family came to cherish them for their love and devotion to her. Heather and Mike Goff, Melanie and Eddie Wilbanks, Debbie and Gary Perdue, Amanda Leedy, David Leedy, Tammy and Don Sherrill and Dorothy Pace.

Four Sisters: Winnie (C M) Smith of Kennett, Missouri
Sandra (Joe) Carter Perryville, Arkansas
Debbie (Lanny) Dawson of Kennett, Missouri
Linda (Terry) Fuller of Kennett, Missouri
Many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Carole is preceded in death by her husband: Dennis Peckenpaugh, parents: Clyde and Villie Duncan, four sisters: Bonnie Edwards, Lois Duncan, Joyce McCormick and Robin Duncan, three brothers-in-law: Ray Edwards, Orville Jensen and Barney McCormick, sister-in-law: Verble Duncan, two nieces: Laura Duncan and Cassie Duncan and one great-nephew: Riley Duncan.
Carole touched the lives of so many. She nurtured and tended her special babies for many years and they continued to be such a joy to her even after they were old enough to leave her loving care into a new chapter of their lives. These children still know her as Mrs. Carole. Trey Sherrill, Savannah Sherrill, Nathan Moody, Noah Moody, Jaxon Perdue, Lucas Perdue, Jaxon Hollis, Alayna Leedy, Ryder Leedy, Korbyn Butler, Ashton Goff, Hollie Goff and Sara Denman.
Services will be 12 PM Wednesday, July 14 in the McDaniel Chapel with Reverend Doug Boyd officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 10 AM and go until service time.
