Carol Lea Hinesly, daughter of the late Carl Mattson and Lenore (Swatson) Mattson, was born September 25, 1945 in Red Oak, Iowa and departed this life on December 11, 2023 at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 16 days. Carol married Joe Mel Hinesly on August 31, 1976.

Carol was of Hornersville, Missouri and served in the Dunklin County Clerk's office for several years.

Two Sons: Dennis "Todd" (Shelly) England of Argyle, Ia

Kermit "KC" (Glenda) England of Beach Corner, Mo.

Daughter: Jody (Donald) Cogburn of Hornersville, Mo

Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren

Brother: Darl Mattson of Higginsville, Mo

Sister: Marianne Welsch of Mason City, Ia

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Memorial Services will be at 7:00 p.m. at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
