Brian Keith Smith, 57, of Kennett, Missouri, passed away at his home on November 25, 2024. He was born November 8, 1967 in Kennett, Missouri to Eddie Gene Smith and Sharon Kay (Easley) Smith of Kennett, Missouri. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed going to St. Louis Cardinals games and fishing and golfing. Brian served in the United States Army Military Police, served as a police officer, and worked as a Bail Bondsman.

Survivors include: his wife, Melinda (Gattis) Smith, of Kennett, Missouri, two sons, Evan Bullock of Holcomb, Missouri, Derick Turner, of Bloomfield, Missouri: two daughters: Morgan Bullock, of Holcomb, Missouri, Rachel Campbell of Campbell, Missouri, two grandsons: Dayton Bader (Morgan), Oden Campbell (Rachel): sister, Anita Burton of Florida, brother: Larry Smith of Florida, numerous cousins and he was friends to many in the community.

He was preceded in death by his father: Eddie Gene Smith, his mother, Sharon Kay (Easley) Smith, infant brother, Christopher Lee and brother Mark Smith.

Graveside Memorial/Burial will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at  Mt.Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) in honor of all those who served their country and were wounded in the line of battle.
