Brenda - beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of Kennett, Missouri passed away peacefully on July 4 ^th , 2021 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Arkansas.

Born on June 4, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri, her father was Euel Gene Smithmier, mother Nadine (Bush) Morris and step father John Morris.

She graduated from Arbyrd High School in 1961.

She married the love of her life Billy Don Branum on September 2, 1960 and they were married for over 53 years until his passing in 2014, she was his "Bren."

To this union were born 3 children.

Brenda worked various jobs throughout her life, The Corner Shop, Dixie Auto Parts and Wal-Mart to name a few.

She was a member of the Slicer Church of Christ in Kennett, Missouri.

Brenda dearly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was sweet and kind and had a contagious smile.

She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Daughter: LaDon (Tim) Gramling of Kansas City, Missouri

Two Sons: Scott (Angela) Branum of Kennett, Missouri

Nick Branum of Kennett, Missouri

Nine Grandchildren: Ty Gramling, Sam (Anna) Gramling, Jordan Gramling, Ryne (Jessica) Branum, Shane (Stacey) Branum, Julianna Branum, Chase Branum, Taylor Branum and Peyton Branum

Four Great grandchildren: Brooks Branum, Reid Branum, Jaxsten Pikey and Beckett Branum,

Sister: Faye Owens of Idabell, Oklahoma

Brother-in-law: Ron (Shirley) Branum of Arbyrd, Missouri

Many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Don Branum, her father: Euel Gene Smithmier, mother: Nadine (Bush) Morris, step-father: John Morris and grandson Joshua Gramling.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the McDaniel Funeral Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. LaDon Gramling officiating. Burial will follow in Senath Cemetery in Senath, Missouri. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Ty Gramling, Sam Gramling, Jordan Gramling, Ryne Branum, Shane Branum, Chase Branum and Peyton Branum.
