Brenda B. Kitchens, the daughter of Burl and Bernita (Abbott) Johnston, was born March 1, 1941 and took her Heavenly flight on June 29, 2025.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheryl Kitchens of Kennett, and Jennifer Kitchens of Spring Hill, TN. Her friends in the Tubberville House of Paragould, AR, many family and friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Glenn A. Kitchens, her parents, and many family and friends.

The family is so thankful for the love, support, and care provided by The Green House Cottages of Belle Meade. Her caregivers loved her as their own and provided the best of care. They certainly became family over the years mom was in their care.

We ask that you remember the great times and memories with both mom and dad. We pray that they have influenced your lives in many positives ways and you celebrate those times and use those examples to share your love for Jesus in your daily walk.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the First United Methodist Church in Kennett, Missouri

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 2, 2025  at the First United Methodist Church in Kennett with Mike Masters and Mark Kailbourn  officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Jason Rhew, Jeff Rhew, Brad Cavness, Alan Abbott, Don Collins and Ken Johnson. Honorary pallbearers  will be members of Open Door Sunday School Class.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements
