Bonnie Marie Felker passed away on January 16, 2025 at her residence in Caruth. She was the daughter of Lyman and Eula Cook, born in Scopus, Missouri on December 31, 1932. She was one of five children - survived by Gearldean Stepp and preceded in death by Ardell Cook, Ronnie Cook, and Wilma Nichols.

Bonnie moved to Caruth in 1948 when she married E.H. Felker, who preceded her in death on January 12, 2004. Married 56 years, they had six children - Tom (Kathy), Gene, Dianna, Bruce, Sharon, and Susan. In 2009, Susan passed suddenly. The remaining five siblings live in Caruth and Kennett. Her extended family includes seven grandchildren (Michael, David, Cassie, Corrie, David, Shelly, Brad), eighteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.

For many decades, she was the matriarch of her large family - a person known for her generosity, her grace, and her strength.  She will be remembered by her family as a daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, friend, caregiver, gardener, baker, leader, volunteer, teacher, and, most importantly, as someone who was truly loved by so many. Her smile and hugs will live on in our memories.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 10:00-12:00 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. The services will begin at 12:00 with Mr. Frank Houston officiating. This will be followed by the burial at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
