Billie Joe Brooks, son of the late Cleo and Leota Pearl (McDaniel) Brooks was born May 2, 1943 in Johnson Island, Missouri and departed this life December 12, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Bill married Linda Malone on June 15, 1962 in Kennett.

He is survived by:

His wife of 59 years: Linda Brooks of Senath.

Two sons: Scott (Jenny) Brooks of Paragould, Arkansas.

Chris Brooks of Senath.

Two brothers: Johnny Brooks of Holcomb, Missouri.

Tony Brooks of Heber Springs, Arkansas.

Four grandchildren: Holly (Jimmy) Williams of Paragould.

Brianna (Jacob) Kienbusch of Paragould.

Noah (Hadley) Brooks of Jonesboro, Arkansas

Zackery Brooks of Senath.

Four great-grandchildren: Abram Dees, Josiah Kienbusch, Juliet Williams and Henry Williams.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Bob and Donald Brooks.

Bill was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He retired from Emerson Electric after 40 years.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM-11:00 AM Thursday, December 16, 2021 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 16, 2021 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Doug Clinton officiating.
