Betty Jane Jackson, daughter of the late James Albert Boone and Clarice Simpson Boone, was born October 11, 1925 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and departed this life on November 3, 2017 at the Flo-Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Betty Jane married Harold Jackson who preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

Cynthia Price and husband Bert Price III, MD of Little Rock, Arkansas

Two grandsons: Ronald Allen Young II and Jonathan Jackson Young

Nephews: Michael, Jim and Joe Eastburn

Other relatives and many friends.

Betty Jane was preceded in death by one sister: Sarah Boone Faris.

Betty Jane was of Steele, Missouri having been a graduate of ASU in Jonesboro, Arkansas earning her Masters degree and then enrolling at Alabama University earning her Bachelor of Business degree. She was an elementary school teacher at Delta C-7 for 25 years, long time member of the DAR where she attended their meetings regulary. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Always having lunch and enjoying the friends and activities at the Kennett Nutrition Center in Kennett, Missouri

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Burial will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Berry, Alabama.  J.R. Davis officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
