Betty Lou Cordell, daughter of the late T.F. Guthrie and Lela (Sanders) Guthrie, was born April 13, 1935 in White Oak, Arkansas and departed this life on November 23, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Betty married Louie Cordell who preceded her in death July 14, 2021.

Survivors include:

Two Sons: Chuck (Sheila) Cordell of Olathe, Kansas

Mike (Lori) Cordell of Clinton Township, Michigan

Daughter: Christina (Zack) Parr of Kennett, Missouri

Nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren

Brother: Eugene Guthrie of Kennett, Missouri

Betty was preceded in death by her daughter: Jacqueline Cordell and fifteen siblings.

Betty was of Rector, Arkansas and passed away at National Health Care in Kennett.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Solid Rock Church in Kennett.  Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Solid Rock Church in Kennett. Reverend Zack Parr officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Marco Parr, Brad Green, Casey Cordell, Greg Green, Alan Burdin nd Dawson Brock.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
