Betty Carroll, daughter of the late Dennis Alexander and Madge Layne Thomas, was born November 07, 1925 in Silverdale, Missouri and passed away May 26, 2022 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 96 years.

Survivors include:

Two Sons:  Danny Carroll (Dana) of Springfield, MO

Lyman Carroll (Sandy) of Hot Springs Village, AR

Two daughters:  Frances Gates of Reno, NV

Cheryl Carty (Terry)  of Jonesboro, AR

One brother:  Dennis Thomas (Linda) of Arbyrd, MO

One sister:  Jo Nell Malloy of Memphis, TN

Sister-in-law:  Anna Beth Thomas of Leachville, AR

Nine grandchildren:  Karen, Troy, Joshua, Jade, Ethan, Ryleigh, Michael, Lisa, and Adam

12 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Wayne Thomas and Ray Thomas

Betty was a long time faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Senath where she taught for 39 years in the Children's Department.

The funeral will be Tuesday, May 31, 1:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Senath with Rev. Doug Clinton and Rev. Chris Hicks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Senath Cemetery.

The visitation will begin Tuesday at 11:00 and continue until service time at 1:00 P.M. at the church.
