Bethany Sue Bowers, daughter of the late Robert Rinehart Berry and Hope Elaine Berry, was born May 12, 1948 in Lansing, Mich., and departed this life on November 20 , 2024, at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 8 days. Bethany married Leon Bowers on March 7, 1964. Leon preceded her in death on February 12, 2024.

Two sons: Tim (Rebekah) Bowers of Kennett, Mo.

Blake (Heather) Bowers of Kennett

Two daughters: Karan (Bob) Taylor of Kennett

Kim (Dean) Wrather of Campbell, Mo.

Two sisters: Judy (Bob) Benson of Republic, Mo.

Sherry (Walter) Longsway of Rose City, Mich.

Seven grandchildren: Brittany Durham, B.J. Taylor, Michael Wrather, Jamie Wrather, Lee Wrather, Hadley Bowers and Georgia Bowers.

Eleven great-grandchildren: Ryann, Mayli, Drew, Kyra, Lexton, Natalie, Aven, Kylen, Ellie, Willa and Hayden.

Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2024, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2024, at the McDaniel Chapel. Pastor Steven Scherer officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Jamie Wrather, Lee Wrather, Michael Wrather
