Barbara Ann Carner, age 78, of Kennett, Missouri, passed away April, 14, 2023 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Barbara was born August 3, 1944, in Kennett to the late Rufus and Jewell (Seymore) Carner.

Barbara had worked as a nurse for 32 years at the hospital and nursing homes in Kennett. She loved to fish and crochet. She loved her many pets.

Survivors include:

2 Sons: David (Ann) Hutsell and Billy Thompson both of Rockford, Illinois;

6 Grandchildren: Cassandra Hutsell, Shannon Hutsell, Brianna Hutsell, Christopher Thompson, Robert Thompson and Laurence Barr.

10 Great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Barbara was preceded in death, on August 3, 2019, by her partner and love of 35 years, David Glen Whitehead. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers: R.B., C.D., and Robert "Butch" Carner and 2 sisters: Mary Hodge and Loretta Lynn Carner.

The family would like say a special thank you to Jody and Tim Lowrance for the care they gave to Barbara.
