Arlene Francis Martin, daughter of the late Junior Morris and Fannie Mae Martin, was born April 11, 1958 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life December 19, 2023 at the age of 65 years 8 months and 8 days.

She is survived by:

Her daughter: Ashlee Lee of Dallas, Texas

One brother: Elvis Taylor of Ohio

Four sisters: Rachel White of Michigan

Carolyn Martin of Kennett

Greta Warren of Kennett

Bertha Taylor of Kennett

Aunts: Linda Thomas (R.B.) of Kennett

Jacqueline White (Glen) of Kennett

Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Arlene had a love for life, music and jewelry but most of all her daughter Ashlee. If you knew her, she always talked about her baby and how proud of her she was. She was a hard working woman with a heart of gold. To know her was to love her.

Arlene worked at Emerson Electric for many years and at Walmart.

She was preceded in death by her grand-dog: Max.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM-1:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2023 at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett. Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2023 at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Pat Nelson officiating. Burial in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Marquis Malone, Marcus Malone, Brian Martin, Tracey Martin, Darius Warren, D'Marius Warren, Wesley Bentley, Joseph Stewart and Terrell Hourd. Honorary  pallbearers:  Kelly Brooks, David Allen, Edward Earl Lee and Gary Simmons.
