Obituary

Lee Annette Williams Stokes, of Bartlett, Tennessee departed this life on March 8, 2022 at the age of 71 years.

Annette was the daughter of the late Charles Lee (Tite) Williams and Virginia Irene Warren Williams. She was born September 20, 1950 in Kennett, Missouri. Annette married Jeff Dewayne Stokes on August 27, 1970.

Annette loved her family and friends, especially young children. She worked as an assistant pre-school teacher for over 25 years at Bartlett United Methodist Preschool. For all who loved her, she went by many names, including – "Mom," "Meme," "Miss Annette," "Meme Nette," "Miss Anneck," and "Mrs. Stokes."

Survivors include:

One daughter: Juli Stokes Zoota and her husband Andrew of Ft. Worth, Texas

One Son: Chad Stokes and his wife Natalie of Panama City Beach, Florida

Five grandchildren: Caitlyn Stokes of Panama City Beach, Florida

Grant Zoota of Ft.Worth, Texas

Mackenzie McQueen of Panama City Beach, Florida

Gavin Zoota of Ft.Worth, Texas and Gage Zoota of Ft. Worth, Texas

Many other relatives and countless friends and "kids"

Annette was preceded in death by her parents Tite and Virginia, and her husband Jeff.

A memorial service will be held at Oliver Creek Church of Christ in Arlington, Tennessee on Saturday, March 12, at 1:30 p.m.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
