Anna Mae Carter, daughter of the late Charlie Norman and Eunice (McGee) Norman, was born January 24, 1938, in Bragg City, Missouri and departed this life at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett on February 26, 2024 at the age of 86 years 1 month and 2 days.  Anna married Houston Carter. Houston preceded her in death.

Ronald (Joyce) Meadows of Farmington, Mo

Steven Houston (Dee) Carter of Kennett, Mo

Daughter: Julia Dodge (Frank) Brown of  Freeport, Fl

Brother: James "Butch"  Norman of Kennett, Mo

Eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren

Anna was preceded in death by two brothers: Clarence Norman and  Billy Norman  and two sisters: Mary Skaggs and  Bonnie Sue Norman.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. David Allen officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
