Amparo Mejia, daughter of the late Amado Mejia and Juana Marin was born January 15, 1930 in Villavictoria, Estado de Mexico and departed this life on February 22, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Amparo married Macario Vilchis in 1950 in San Jose, Mexico. Macario preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

Five Sons: Felipe Vilchis, Gregorio Vilchis, Alfredo Vilchis, Jorge Vilchis and Eduardo Vilchis

Three Daughters: Juana Vilchis, Jovita Vilchis, Isabel Vilchis,

Two sisters: Eutelia Mejia and Gloria Mejia

Other relatives and friends.

Amparo was preceded in death by two sons: Carlos Vilchis and Jose Luis Vilchis, sister: Isaura Mejia and brother: Eduardo Mejia

Amparo was of Cardwell, Missouri and passed away in Cardwell, Missouri

Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Reverend Dagoberto Barbosa officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Panteon ElCalvario  Cemetery in Cvajimalpa, Mexico.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
