Alta Mae Jackson, daughter of the late George Sides and Claris ( Brand) Sides, was born July 19, 1947, in Gobler, Missouri and departed this life on August 17, 2026, at the age of 79 years and 29 days. Alta married Wilburn Jackson on May 22, 1965 in Hornersville, Missouri. Wilburn preceded her in death.

Survivors include

Two  Sons: Greg Jackson of Piedmont, MO

Terry Jackson of Vail, CO

Two daughters: Tami (Todd ) Mayberry of Tulsa, OK

Sheri (Jack) Harris of Paragould, AR

Thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren

Sister: Bea Sides of Kennett, MO

Alta was preceded in death by her sisters: Myrtle Todd and two infancy and two brothers: William and George Sides.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at First Church in Kennett. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 20, 2026 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett. Pastor Donnie Sheerin officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Todd Mayberry, Jack Harris, Aaron Harris, Forest Mayberry, Logan Mayberry and Lincoln Mayberry.

McDaniel Funeral Service of  Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
