Alice Magdlene Tice, daughter of the late Lloyd Thomas Smith and Tylene (Gatewood) Smith, passed away May 20, 2023, at National Health Care in Kennett, Missouri. Alice was  born November 14,1930 in Burdette, Arkansas and passed away at the age of 92 years.  She married Arvis (A.V.) Tice in 1945 in Piggott, Arkansas.  A.V. preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

Three sons: Jerry (Debbie) Tice of Grandin, Missouri;

Joe Tice of Memphis, Tennessee ;

Jimmie Tice of Kennett, Missouri;

Five Grandchildren: Jodie (Chris) Coffer of Kennett, Missouri;

Dr. Jeri Kay (Rick) Hardy of Owensville, Missouri;

Torey (Jenny) Tice of O'Fallon, Missouri;

Justin (Dee) Tice of Williamsville; Missouri;

Jordan (Gina) Tice of Memphis, Tennessee

Ten Great-grandchildren;

Four Great-great-grandchildren and one more on the way;

Special Nephew and Niece Myron and Marilyn Low;

Three brothers: Glenn Smith of St. Charles, Missouri; William Smith of St. Peters. Missouri; and Leroy Smith of Poplar Bluff, Missouri;

Two sisters: Lavon Mungle of St. Charles, Missouri and Judie Bankston of Wentzville, Missouri

other relatives and many friends.

Alice was preceded in death by three brothers: James Lloyd Smith, Earl Smith and Wesley Smith and sister: Lucille Low.

Alice was a Member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett, Missouri;

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett.  Jerald Pickens officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers; Torey Tice, Justin Tice, Jordan Tice, Cole Hardy, Seth Tice, Braden Tice and Chris Coffer. Honorary pallbearers: Jodie Coffer, Dr. Jeri Kay Hardy and Rick Hardy, Myron Low and Marilyn Low.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
