Albert Nixon, son of the late Andrew Jackson Nixon and Rosetta (Roberts) Nixon Wright, was born January 16, 1927 in Roundway, Mississippi and departed this life May 4, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Albert married Madeline Smith January 24, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on May 16, 2014.

He is survived by:

One son: Richard Lynn Nixon of Oran, Missouri.

Six daughters: Joyce Standley of Cardwell, Missouri.

Elda Davis of Cardwell, Missouri.

Etta Rae Cox of Cardwell, Missouri.

Kathy Rasberry of Kennett, Missouri.

Linda Nixon of Kennett, Missouri.

Debra Knight of Dexter, Missouri.

Nineteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by one son: Albert Dewayne Nixon, one grandson and one brother: Lee Edward Nixon.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett with burial to follow. Grandsons are honored to serve as pallbearers.
