Vernon Jack Blankenship, son of the late Hubert Blankenship and Normal (Darnel) Blankenship was born December 9, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on July 4, 2018 at the age of 82 years.

Survivors include:

Two sons: Jackie Blankenship of Caruthersville, Missouri

Blake Blankenship of West Memphis, Arkansas

One daughter: Tracey Strawn and Mark of Jackson, Tennessee

Two sisters: Regina Bradshaw of Piggott, Arkansas

Dorothy Schalk of Fredricktown, Missouri

Many grandchildren

Other relatives and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by one brother: Hubert Jr. Blankenship

Jack passed away July 4, 2018 in Kennett, Missouri

Graveside services will be 2:00 P M Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri. Burial in Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri.

McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
