Liza Ileen Carnell, daughter of the late Jeff and Maud Pierce Danels, was born April 16, 1924 in Tupelo, Arkansas and departed this life on January 16, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Ileen married Bob Carnell on December 31, 1948 in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2002.

She is survived by:

Two sons: Ricky Carnell of Abbeville, Mississippi.

Jeff Carnell of Kennett, Missouri.

Four daughters: Barbara Burgess of Kennett, Missouri.

Judy Carnell of Kennett, Missouri.

Ronda Young of Doniphan, Missouri.

Karen Zimmermann of Massillon, Ohio.

Two brothers: Bill Danels of Easton, Maryland.

Roy Danels of Rogersville, Missouri.

One sister: Betty Woods of Kennett, Missouri.

Eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by a son: Buddy Carnell, great-grandson: Jake Burgess and two brothers: Troy and J.Q. Danels,.
